Warranty

All products sold by KOFOKA DISTRIBUTION LTD are genuine and officially imported into the United Kingdom.

All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Warranty and post-warranty repairs are carried out by authorised service partners.
If a product develops a fault during the warranty period, it will be inspected and repaired in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

If replacement parts are temporarily unavailable, the repair will be completed once the required components are received from the manufacturer.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Returns

If you change your mind or no longer need the product, you may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order, in accordance with UK consumer law.

To be eligible for a return, please ensure that:

  • The product is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging

  • For generators, no fuel or oil has been added

  • The serial number matches the product supplied

  • All accessories and manuals are included

Once the returned item has been received, inspected and approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Effective date: 01.01.26

1. Introduction

This Returns & Refunds Policy applies to purchases made through the website operated by KOFOKA DISTRIBUTION LTD(“we”, “us”, “our”).

It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions of Sale.

2. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you receive the Products.

3. Conditions for Returns (Change of Mind)

If you cancel your order for reasons other than a fault or defect:

  • Products must be returned:

    • unused,

    • undamaged,

    • in their original packaging,

    • with all accessories and manuals included.

  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping.

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, especially for heavy items such as generators.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund if returned Products show signs of use, damage, or improper handling.

4. Return Timeframes

  • You must send the Products back within 14 days of notifying us of your cancellation.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Products or proof of return, whichever is earlier.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction.

5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Your rights are protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If the Products you receive are:

  • faulty,

  • damaged,

  • or not as described,

you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

In such cases:

  • we will cover reasonable return shipping costs,

  • you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.

6. Exclusions and Non-Returnable Items

Returns may be refused if:

  • Products have been used, installed, or modified;

  • damage is caused by misuse, improper installation, or lack of maintenance;

  • serial numbers or identification labels have been removed or altered.

This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.

7. Heavy and Bulky Items

Generators and similar equipment are classified as heavy or bulky goods.

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • safe packaging for return,

  • appropriate handling during transport.

We are not responsible for damage caused during return transit due to inadequate packaging.

8. Refund Amounts

If a return is accepted:

  • the refund will include the price paid for the Products;

  • original delivery charges are refunded only where required by law;

  • return delivery costs are non-refundable unless the Products are faulty or incorrect.
